    Great news.
I purchased both TTR (iPad), TTR Pocket and TTR Europe Pocket for iOS a while ago. Is there a way for me to get the Europe map in this new version without having to purchase it for €10? That’s a bit of a downer :/

    • Jason says:

Did you try hitting the “restore purchases” button? Worked for me. Got all the maps I had previously bought.

      • Roel says:

That doesn’t do anything for me since TTR Europe is a separate app, not an in game purchase.

    • Beth says:

I was using ticket to ride on my iPad with all the additional routes purchased I did the upgrade….worked for a day then won’t sign me in anymore…..Tried putting in my email and user and it doesn’t find me.

  2. Dusty says:

So is my icon supposed to change from Ticket to Ride Pocket to regular Ticket to Ride? I paid the $9.99 Full Upgrade. Now in the shop it shows “Upgrade to the full version” and it wants another $4.99. What am I doing wrong here?

  3. Maioni says:

I got all maps in my iPad Version, can I restore purchases in my iPhone Pocket Version without paying? Can I still play matchs with the new 2.0 version with friends using the 1.1 pocket version? Some people dont want to buy the full version, they still play the pocket free version.

    • Jeff says:

It looks like you just download the iPad one on your iPhone and use it going forward. It’s now a universal app.

      • Jimmy says:

That’s what I’d like to do but it’s still saying it cost $6.99 even though it was on my iPad.

        • Shawn says:

Are you using the same AppleID on both your iPad and iPhone? I know obvious question, but sometimes the obvious is the answer 😛

  4. OneBagTravel says:

Having two apps is confusing. Is pocket even updated anymore? I own all of the maps on Steam, do I have to pay for them again on iOS?

  5. Joanna says:

I know patience is a virtue and all that. I would like to know if the upgrade is phased . I have TTR for an Android tablet and I have not received notification of any update have also uninstalled and reinstalled but no India map yet. Thanks for any info

  6. Jimmy says:

I just paid $9.99 for the complete pack but I haven’t received any upgrade. Then I notice in the news it says that TTR Pocket get TTR for free. I see in the App Store TTR has the complete pack for $4.99. I also already owned TTR on my iPad but it’s still not letting me download it without paying on the App Store.

Some clarification would be nice. Did I just waste $5?

  7. Neko says:

I’m confused. I have the pocket version. If I do a complete upgrade ($9), will I get the regular app with all maps or will my app still be the pocket edition icon with all the maps? Also, will the pocket edition be supported afterwards, in the sense that it will receive the same updates that the regular non-pocket icon app will have? And when will Android and Steam receive the update and dlc?

  8. John says:

I own the pocket version and the iPad version.

The interface on both is now unusably bad. Those distracting black bars telling me to “choose some tickets” are a horrible feature and there doesn’t appear to be a way to turn them off. I think that I can figure that it’s my turn without being told “This is your turn”.

The gameboard space is now much smaller relative to the available screen size.

I cannot restore the purchases I made in the iPad version when I install it on my iPhone. Why isn’t this possible?

Take my advice and wait until version 2.1 until you “upgrade” this program.

  9. Walt says:

Looks like I just got screwed, unless someone has a solution. I had TTR on my iPad with ALL expansions, including Europe. When I tried to update to 2.0 (so I could purchase India), I would click on the “Update” button in the App Store, and the downloading ring would appear for a second, then change back to the “Update” button. Kept trying this and it wouldn’t work. Did a hard restart of my iPad and that didn’t help either. I then deleted the app completely from my iPad, thinking I would go back to the App Store and re-install it. However, when I did that, the App Store now asks me to “Purchase” instead of “Update”. No way I’m going to pay for everything AGAIN, and is Europe now not available to purchase anymore? Any suggestions on how I can get EVERYTHING back that I jphad and update to 2.0?

  10. Viking says:

Will the Humble Bundle version also receive the update?

  11. Walt says:

So will anyone from Days of Wonder actually ever post on this board, or are those of us who can’t update the app just totally fucked over?

  12. Walt says:

    Fuck Days of Wonder.

  13. Sharon says:

Do not like the new format, esp USA 1910 Mega!

  14. Mqy says:

This version is buggy and the interface is horrible. Please consider going back to the old one.

    1. Can’t connect 50% of the time
    2. Having the two deck of card next to each other is stupid
    3. What happen to the Bluetooth option in local mode?

  15. Chris says:

The new update is nice and the India map is fun but I cant play any of the add on maps offline anymore. My phone spends the majority of its time offline that’s why i bought this game. Now I can’t use it, I’d like my money back.

  16. J says:

They took a game I love and broke it. Those black bars after each turn are awful. Don’t want to play anymore. Sound effects worse. Map smaller. This is progress? I not think so. Somebody should be fired.

  17. Walt says:

Still can’t update. Wow this is really one fucked up app.

  18. Kc says:

I would lime my money back as the iPad upgrade isn’t an upgrade. It’s slow obnoxious and clunky. And was forced on us. I have never been so mad at a game company to write to say how much I hate what you have done. Put the old version back or give us our money back…including all of the board games I ever gave as gifts. Yes, that upset about this bad roll out

And now you won’t take my comment?

  20. Matt says:

Still no info on updating from the Humble Bundle version….

  21. Troy says:

I have the iPad version and downloaded the update without problems. My additional maps are all there and the game plays fine, no issues. Maybe a little jerky at the launch. But my mom has the Kindle version. She does not have an update option and we’ve been waiting for the asynchronous multiplayer feature. What does a Kindle user need to do to get this update?

  22. JohnnyB says:

Any plans to bring Ticket to Ride to Windows 10 (mobile)?

  23. Emma Ihsan says:

Please bring back Bluetooth for local games! That was one of the best things about this app..

  24. Walt says:

Is there any indication from this company that they will ever get their useless excuse for an app to actually work?

  25. Dan says:

Previous version was a favorite for years. Latest update is trash. We’re really sad and unhappy.
