While we have resisted raising prices over the past few years, fast-rising fuel and raw material costs, combined with a weakening dollar, have led to significant increases in our production and shipment costs for games. These issues have finally reached a point where we can no longer ignore them.

Contest Official Rules

The Memoir ‘44 Air Pack Airplane Painting Contest is open to anyone who submits an entry under the following guidelines, except in countries and jurisdictions where contests of this type are prohibited.

Contestants must submit a photograph of their painting of one of the planes from the Memoir ‘44 Air Pack expansion. Submissions must be in JPG format and be less than 256K in size. They can only be accepted via upload on the Airplane Painting Contest Gallery Page. Any entry sent via email or physical mail will not be considered eligible and will not be returned.

Unpainted planes are only available from, and are randomly selected for inclusion in, the November, 2007 edition of Game Trade Magazine. No other unpainted planes will be made available for this contest from Days of Wonder, Game Trade Magazine or Alliance Game Distributors.

By their submission, entrants vouch that the painting or enhancements on their entry are their own creation and not the work of anyone else and also gives permission to Days of Wonder and Game Trade Magazine to publish the submitted image in any promotional materials.

Entries must be submitted by midnight, December 31, 2007. One Grand Prize winner and two runner-up winners will be determined solely by criteria determined by Days of Wonder. Winners will be announced on January 15, 2008 and notified by email within 5 days of the contest announcement.

The Grand Prize winner will receive a custom, large-scale, printed map of the Memoir ‘44 battle of your choice. Two runner-up prizes will also be awarded with each runner up receiving a copy of the Memoir ‘44 expansion of their choice.

Employees, agents, and family members of Days of Wonder or Alliance Game Distributors are not eligible to participate in the Contest and shall be ineligible for any prize covered herein.

Entrants acknowledge that Days of Wonder, Game Trade Magazine and Alliance Game Distributors are not liable for reimbursement of any prize or consideration other than a printed, large-scale map of an official published Memoir ‘44 scenario or a single copy of a Memoir ‘44 expansion. Residents of jurisdictions where this type of Contest is prohibited by law or subject to registration are ineligible to participate in the Contest and shall be ineligible for any prize covered herein.

To upload your entry you must be registered member of the Days of Wonder Community and logged into your account. Your entry will only be identified by your user name. By submitting an entry you acknowledge that you agree to the above rules.
