Each of Morgan’s seven witches has her own Special Black card with a unique power of its own. Thanks to these witches brew you might end up losing cards and Life Points, unwillingly sending hordes of Picts and Saxons against Camelot, or spreading unwelcome dissension . So watch out for the witches’ powers! They will make completing your Quests all the more difficult.

Fortunately, new beneficial events will also help you fight against evil: you may be able to call for Merlin’s help, receive Divine Favor, agree to a truce with your enemies… Unity is victory, so keep together, or the shadow will win!

Merlin’s Company brings you 8 new special White Cards to help you fight Morgan and her witches. These cards may be used to call Merlin to the rescue, to play more fight cards, to counter a hex… Will you be able to stop the forces of evil from tearing the land apart?

The Travel deck introduced in Merlin’s Company adds a new dimension to the game. Each time you travel from one Quest to another, you will draw a card from the Travel deck. If you are lucky, nothing ominous will happen, and Merlin might even come to your aid.

However, if you are unlucky, you might get lost, ambushed… or even taken captive by a greedy lord and held for ransom. You will then need your companions’ help and favor, for without them you will remain captive forever… Can you convince them you are worthy of the ransom being asked?

These new cards add a new dimension to travels in the shadows that loom over Camelot! Your every move will have to be planned and thought significantly different from what they were before. Can you really survive the dangers that await you in this new expansion?

Discover the seven new heroic Knights of the Round Table: Sir Bors, Sir Caradoc, Sir Gaheris, Sir Gareth, Sir Geraint, Sir Lamorak, Sir Owain; also joining them is the famed Sir Bedivere, Lord of Dunraven. Each of these Knights uses a miniature from the original game but with a new Coat of Arms and special power. All have pledged allegiance to King Arthur. But will they be strong enough to resist the dark temptations of evil, and remain loyal to the cause? Evil lurks, and rumor has it that there might be not just one, but possibly even two traitors in their midst!

But do not despair! For during this darkest of hours, the forces of good are not fighting alone. Merlin himself is on his way to aid the Company with his awe-inspiring magic. Represented by his own figure, he moves on his own from Quest to Quest, lending a helping hand to the valiant Knights.

That is a good thing, for without him, there seems to be little hope of victory… Morgan is said to be gathering her own coven of witches… Never before has the Round Table faced such troubled times.

Merlin’s Company is a new expansion for the popular Shadows over Camelot board game. It introduces a host of new characters - including 7 new knights and Merlin himself - to the Shadows over Camelot epic. The wise old wizard is now a full-blown independent character in the game, complete with his own figure. He travels the board lending guidance and a helping hand to the embattled knights.

Merlin’s Company also introduces 63 new cards: the all new Travel cards - events that may occur as you move from Quest to Quest; additional Black cards, including 7 witches allied with Morgan; and additional White cards that will help you and your fellow knights in your battles against the forces of evil.

The Merlin’s Company expansion, supports up to 8 players, including 2 possible Traitors, assuring that even the most innocuous Shadows over Camelot Quest will be filled with grave peril.
