Alan Moon has been saved!

The kidnappers have been foiled, thanks to the detective work of Shawn Simas, aka  DaJackel, from Ontario Canada, who was the first to respond with the correct crime elements in the Mystery Express Whodunit contest.  He knew that it was Prof. Karlov, driven by his deep Despair, who Clubbed poor Alan in the Club Car at 6:30! In addition to Alan Moon’s grateful thanks, he has also won a $500 (US) reward.

The story ends…

…I ran in the direction of the shot, which seemed to come directly from the sleeping car. As I burst into the car, the first thing I saw was a dagger homing in on my head. I ducked, just in time to save my thick skull, but the pain in my shoulder meant I wasn’t quite as quick as I used to be. I’d been stabbed!

The knife, still gripped by a male hand, receded into the first berth on the right. Whether I was driven by money, greed or some deep and unknown compulsion, I had to find out the truth.  I ripped open the curtain and looked into the face of the culprit. I could barely believe my eyes…

“I felt we were only a few clues away from solving the crime. I was tired from lack of sleep, but still determined.

Sometime around 4:45,  I made my way from my seat in the passenger car to the dining car. Suddenly a shot rang out!
