The Memoir ‘44 Breakthrough Expansion will take you deep into the battles of World War II with two, double-sided, 9-panel board maps covering all four Memoir ‘44 map environments - countryside, beach, winter and deserts. These oversize boards stretch the limit of current printing technology and are 13 x 17 hexes deep, opening up the Breakthrough format to new, more expansive scenarios.

The Breakthrough Expansion includes 15, never-in-print-before scenarios, created by Jacques “jdRommel” David, and Memoir ‘44 author, Richard Borg. These scenarios cover the Western and Eastern Fronts, as well as the Mediterranean and Pacific Theaters and include classic battles such as: Operation Crusader; Operation Amherst; and two different renditions of Sword Beach - all designed for the 13 x 17 hex Breakthrough format.

The Memoir ‘44 Breakthrough Expansion is an expansion for 2 players and requires a copy of Memoir ‘44. Depending on the scenario being played, additional expansions are highly recommended to fully enjoy the new Breakthrough maps, although players can substitute game pieces if they don’t own a specified expansion. The Memoir ‘44 Breakthrough expansion will be available in April in Europe and in early May in North America from your favorite Memoir ‘44 retailer and the Days of Wonder Web Store.

So begins the background to the Vercors Campaign - five new scenarios created by Jacques “jdrommel” David that highlight the heroic Maquisards of the French Resistance and their battle against overwhelming SS forces on the Vercors Plateau in the summer of 1944. As with all Memoir ‘44 Campaigns, victory is earned over multiple battles with the outcome of each scenario determining the circumstances of the next.

While supplies last, this full-color, mini-expansion will be given away free at participating hobby game retailers or to customers who purchase any Memoir ‘44 product the Days of Wonder online web store.

The Vercors Campaign will automatically be included in any order from the Days of Wonder web store that includes a Memoir ‘44 product. This also includes any pre-orders for the new Sword of Stalingrad expansion expected to ship December 1 (so if you’ve already placed a pre-order, don’t worry it’ll get added automatically!). Expect the Vercors Campaign in retail stores in North America and Europe beginning in mid November. In Europe, both French and English versions will be available; In North America, only English will be available from the web store, but retailers in Quebec will have copies of the French version. A copy of the base Memoir ‘44 game, its Terrain Pack expansion (for some scenarios only) and the Campaign Book Vol.1 are required to play the Vercors Campaign. The Air Pack is also recommended, although not strictly necessary to play this particular campaign.

The Sword of Stalingrad expansion features 2 large-scale ready-to-play Overlord Scenarios;  2 standard scenarios; new Summary cards for the previously published Battle Maps and Mediterranean Theater expansion; and, for the first time, additional cards for in-game play - the new Combat Deck specifically designed for urban warfare.

Battle Map Volume 3 includes 2 standard scenarios that are playable on a regular Memoir ‘44 board - Mamayev Kurgan and Pavlov, Hero of the Soviet Union.

Sword of Stalingrad also introduces a new Combat Deck - 20 new cards that the game’s author, Richard Borg has specifically designed for urban warfare. The Combat Deck marks the first time that additional cards have been created for in-game play in the Memoir ‘44 system.

The FAQ document covers all card questions and mirrors the Official Card Compendium which is the most up-to-date location for future questions. In addition to card questions, this document covers general Memoir ‘44 questions, overlord questions, and questions about specific scenarios. We encourage players to print this document and keep it in their Campaign Bag for easy reference.

The Tigers in the Snow expansion features 2 large-scale ready-to-play Overlord Scenarios, 6 Tiger Tanks miniatures and 2 bonus scenarios.

Tigers in the Snow is a Winter scenario set on the Eastern Front and features the tactics of famed German Panzer General Guderian; while Operation Market Garden focuses on General Montgomery’s bold attempt to drop Allied troops behind German lines in the Netherlands. The Market Garden scenario is fought on a unique 11-hex deep map, specially designed by Memoir ’44 author Richard Borg for the occasion.
