As the very first board game available the day the iPad launched, Small World pioneered a whole new world of board games on tablets. It earned critical acclaim and hordes of devoted players, but aside from a few mini-expansions, barely changed since its launch. But for the past year our development team in Paris has been working on a “from-the-ground-up” rewrite of the game; and Small World 2 – a brand new version with 3-5 player maps, asynchronous online play, the Be Not Afraid expansion and more – will be available on the iPad later this summer.
A few hundred games of Ticket to Ride can leave your train cards looking a little worse for wear. If you need to replace your worn out Ticket to Ride or Ticket to Ride Europe cards, replacement decks that include all the train cards and Destination Tickets are now available from the Days of Wonder webstore.
We’re creating a new digital version of YOUR favorite fantasy board game… and you can help make it better thanks to Kickstarter!
Small World was the first board game EVER on the iPad – if you were one of those who waited in line at your Apple store that day, you could start playing the minute you got home. Fans and critics alike loved it. But our development team quickly turned their focus onto Ticket to Ride for iPad making it look like we had abandoned Small World.
In the 2012 reprint of Mystery of the Abbey, there are errors in the English language edition where the incorrect number of cards to pass at Mass is given. Each card incorrectly states you should pass 2 cards, whereas the number of cards to pass changes depending on the Mass. For the first Mass card (MATINS), you pass 1 card; for the second Mass card (LAUDS) you pass 2; then (PRIME) 3 cards; (TERCE) 4; (SEXT) 5; and 6 cards for the last 3 (NONE, VESPERS and COMPLINE).
We have reprinted new Mass cards, so if you have incorrect cards (i.e., each card says “pass 2 cards”), we’d like to send you the corrected versions for free.
