Follow the Ticket to Ride World Championship (Live)!

On Saturday September 27th, the Musée de la Carte à Jouer (Card Game Museum) at Issy-les-Moulineaux will host the 2nd Ticket to Ride World Championship.

28 national champions will play several games on  a selection of Ticket to Ride maps – the best of them will then be declared Ticket to Ride World Champion and win the Grand Prize: an unforgettable trip for two to Asia on the Eastern & Oriental Express!

The Tric Trac team and Days of Wonder are happy to offer you the opportunity to follow this event live! The championship will be broadcasted on www.trictrac.tv. If you prefer, you can also attend the Play-Offs in the Musée de la Carte à Jouer (free entrance in the museum from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.).

The champions need you to support them! Feel free to post a support message to your favorite champion on our forum!

Schedule (all times are CEST):

  • 10:00 a.m. – 1st Round on Ticket to Ride
  • 11:15 a.m. – 2nd Round on Ticket to Ride Europe
  • 1:15 p.m. – 3rd Round on Ticket to Ride Legendary Asia

After the 3 qualifying rounds, players will be ranked as follows:

  • total of points for position in each games (1st = 3 pts ; 2nd = 2pts ; 3rd = 1pt ; 4th = 0pt),
  • in case of a tie between two players in the final ranking, total of victory points scored during the 3 games will serve as a tiebreaker.

The eight best players will then move to the Play-Offs on the USA map.

  • 2:45 p.m. – Quarter-Final
  • 4:15 p.m. – Semi-Final
  • 6:00 p.m. – Final (and 3rd place game)
  • 7:30 p.m. – Award Ceremony

    You need to include me to make and reference to a Championship legitimate. Your contest is invalid if you ignore my challenge.

    The times given are in Paris time (six hours ahead of US Eastern time), correct?
