Mystery of the Abbey returns

The Abbey of Saint-Pierre has been extremely quiet these past few years as the Abbot sent all the monks away for a very long pilgrimage.  But they’re on their way back, and once again they’ll be tasked with solving the mystery… Who Killed Brother Adelmo?

Mystery of the Abbey is a whodunit game of deduction and intuition, set in a medieval abbey. Originally released in 2003 as Days of Wonder’s first big box board game, it has won numerous awards and tens of thousands of  fans. Out of print for several years, Mystery of the Abbey will soon be available again. Expect to see it in stores in the US and Europe by late August.  Learn more on the Mystery of the Abbey web page.

Is this just a reprint or will there be changes to the game or rules?

  2. Tom says:

Will an App be available for this or any other DoW board games?

Because of the nature of Mystery of the Abbey – the core of the game is the player interaction required to make deductions – we don’t know that it lends itself very well to a digital version, so I wouldn’t expect to see an App for the game anytime soon.

I hope this is a sign that the older games might be seeing a little revival. I would love to see Colosseum and Cleopatra reprinted as well!!

  6. GhostWolf69 says:
