Medi - I think part of the answer is that while Android sells a lot more devices, App sales are a lot smaller - massively smaller if you consider how many more Android phones there are. And tablet App sales are minute.

There are lots of reasons for this - but combined, they make developing for Android less commercially attractive.

Hopefully that is starting to change - and I'm sure Days of Wonder will oblige as soon as the spreadsheets tell them an Android version will make more money than it costs to write. After all, you can play in a web browser against someone on an iPad.

Ah, the never-ending question about how people score so high...the key to getting a score that high is to have a route that goes from the West Coast to the East Coast, and draw a ton of destination tickets that are all completed by the same tracks. It's easier to get a high score like 295 playing against the computer because it doesn't usually go out as quickly and you have time to keep drawing tickets.

Good luck in your games and keep enjoying the iPhone version!

Very addictive game. Seriously considering getting the board game now.

Just one question though. How is it possible to score 295 points??? That's the current top score on the all time leader board but I'm struggling to work how you can score 200 points let alone almost 300!

Love the app! I've encountered a few problems. It crashes sometimes and other times it'll freeze my iPhone. I would love to see the Europe addition for the iPhone. Otherwise, I'm so happy to see my favorite board game now on my phone. Great job!

Thanks for actually bringing this to the iPhone. I've been hoping for this day since I heard about the iPad version. I do not and probably will not ever own an iPad so having an iPhone version is very exciting. The only thing I ask is not for online play as although I disagree with your decision to omit it, I understand the reasoning behind it as well as I don't play online very much. Rather my suggestion is to include the expansions at some point. Build them specifically for the iPhone or whatever. I don't care if it looks shittier on the iPhone. Do you honestly think that we the consumers care? The more gameplay the better.

BTW, since you support iPhone and iPad, it would be great if you supported local mode where the iPad held just the board and the iPhones held just the cards. This closely resembles the physical board game in terms of playing styles, and is what the Scrabble app currently supports.

We have this on our two iPhones and we love playing it.

However, the local mode is too buggy (wifi). We've played several times and most of the time one of the iPhones inadvertently disconnects even though we are sitting right next to the router. We then have to start a new game as there is no way to restart an existing game.

We're at the point that we've stopped playing local mode as we've lost confidence we can complete a full game.
