Not sure about this one…
Belated april fool’s? I hope?
Oh my god! Please, not the dreaded mimes! They’re so…well…annoying.
See that shark over in the distance? Do. Not. Jump.
I would hardly call this jumping the shark. In a game that doesn’t take it self seriously I think there is room for wacky and crazy races. I still think the art looks cool on these guy and I’m curious to know what kind of power the shadow mimes will have.
Hmmm, Are they in caves?
Are the gnomes underground?
Would it be madness to speculate on a new underground map board?
Probably… But that’s not going to stop me!
Dear DoW:
Please, please, ‘forget’ to include some token
Another competition on BGG like the original choose a race compettition? The Amazon sticker is cool
I don’t like graphics and concept of this race. Gnomes are much more better.
@Scott
People have speculated that this expansion is actually a new smallworld stand alone game. So thinking that there would be new boards would be right on the money.
Also look at the border on the shadow mimes and the gnomes. It’s completely different from all the other races so far giving further evidence that this might be a stand alone game.
Is it just me, or is the mime with the flame mimicking the Wizard? Could it be these guys get to take the ability of other races?
Good call Chris. The Mime in the back looks like it’s a Ghoul. Plus this is an often home-brewed race (The Mimic).
The Homunculi isn’t exactly ‘normal’ so this works just as well in my book.
Don’t like mimes. Sue me. Also, a 2-word race name? Breaking the mold a bit there arent we?
White Ladies
I like the concept of “Mimic” better. I can’t stand mimes, shadow or otherwise…nothing personal of course.
Mimicking races from the original game would suggest that it can be incorporated into this new one somehow. Perhaps there will be a standalone play option as well as a way of integrating the previous boards and/or races.
