Now this is exciting! The first thing this screams to me is undead pirates (although the artwork of the hat does look a bit odd. Not sure what style it is. I think they were going for the pirate style but it looks more cowboy/western).
Clearly, the style of the sword says pirates/bucaneers, so I don’t think it’s a BattleLore expansion…especially since they sold the rights of BattleLore to FFG. My guess is a Pirate’s Cove expansion.
Yes, except that it’s obviously not a human skeleton given that it only has about 2/3 the normal number of ribs, if you want to get that technical (looks like 8 pair total). So it’s an alien pirate cowboy game!
Bone Battles!
My observations -
Looks like both left and right arms have crossed bones.
Never seen a Pirate carry a shield!?
Shake, Rattle, and Roll? A dice game?
Probably it will be a new memoir’44 army or a new science fictions game … do you remember the “big foot” ? It was totally (almost) unrelated to the real release so … we can expect everything and I’m sure in DoW are having fun looking us groping in the dark. Anyway, from DoW, quite every new is a good new!

Pirates Cove? But that looks more like a cowboy hat that a pirate’s hat…
Maybe we’ll get lucky and it’s a new game….

A parting shot for the Battlelore system as a skeleton army?

I agree on it likely not being Battlelore. I am hoping it’s a new intellectual property.

Ok, I’m an anatomy geek. The skeleton’s left arm is messed up because the radius and ulna are crossed. In that position they would not normally be.

Oops, I meant to say that his shield arm was messed up. I didn’t realize that this skeleton is left-handed.

I’ve heard that there will be a new game announced soon, so I think we have the theme?

A commercial and beautiful trading card game? Based on market research and testing in focus groups?
